The Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre St. Louis, MO was originally built as a baseball stadium for the St. Louis Cardinals’ Triple-A affiliate, the Memphis Redbirds. The stadium opened in 2001 and was named after the nearby Hollywood Casino. The Redbirds played at the stadium until 2005, when they moved to a new stadium in Memphis, Tennessee.
After the Redbirds left, the stadium was converted into an amphitheater and renamed Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre St. Louis, MO. The amphitheater opened in 2006 and has since hosted a variety of concerts and other events.
