Internationally acclaimed Japanese author Haruki Murakami is, as you know, a huge one music lover, especially jazz. So, in honor of Tokyo FM’s 50th anniversary, Murakami turned to his DJ skills to host a special live-stream jam on Sunday, February 14; the show is called Blame the Bossa NovaAlthough the live stream is over, you can still watch the two-hour special with English subtitles online until Wednesday, February 24, 11:59 PM.

The show features renowned bossa nova and jazz musicians, including Lisa Ono, Kaori Muraji and Miu Sakamoto, as well as a rare talk session with the famous reclusive author. Musical director Junko Onishi also performs together with pianist Yosuke Yamashita.
