Harrah’s Lake Tahoe Casino is a hotel and casino located in Stateline, Nevada, on the south shore of Lake Tahoe. The casino is owned and operated by Caesars Entertainment. It is the largest casino in the Lake Tahoe area, and one of the largest casinos in the state of Nevada.

History

The Harrah’s Lake Tahoe Casino was originally built in 1955 as the Harvey’s Lake Tahoe Casino. It was purchased by Harrah’s Entertainment in 1973, and the name was changed to Harrah’s Lake Tahoe. The casino underwent a major expansion in 1995, which added a new hotel tower and a number of new gaming and dining options.

The Harrah’s Lake Tahoe Casino has a total of 2,034 hotel rooms, including 138 suites. The casino floor has over 2,000 slot machines and 80 table games. The casino also offers a variety of other amenities, including a spa, a fitness center, a bowling alley, and a movie theater.
