History

The casino was originally built in 1979 as the Shreveport Hilton Casino. It was purchased by Harrah’s Entertainment in 1995 and renamed Harrah’s Shreveport. The casino underwent a major expansion in 2005, which added a new hotel tower and a number of new gaming and dining options.
