What is Happy Death Day 3?
Happy Death Day 3 is one of the best American black comedy slasher movies, which is directed by Christopher Landon. It was written by Scott Lobdel. Initially, the film was produced by Jason Blum through Blumhouse Productions.
Happy Death Day 3 follows a student who is murdered on the night of her birthday and relives that day over and over again. She decides to track down the killer and stop her death.
Like Happy Death Day 2 was released on 13th February 2019, all fans (including me) are eagerly waiting for the next episode ie Happy Death Day 3.

What Happens in Happy Death Day 3? | The plot of Happy Death Day 3
In Happy Death Day 3, the story centers on a college student named Ryan who wakes up in his car on Tuesday 19th September. As he returns to his dorm, he enters his roommate Carter and Carter’s girlfriend, Tree. He begins work with his classmates Samar and Dre on an experimental quantum reactor.
The school principal closes the project due to several power cuts. While Ryan is being killed by someone who looked like Baby face and comes back to 19th. Plus, Tree explains her own experience and then Carter was on hand to help Ryan with Tree.
They found that this cycle was created by the reactor alone. The new Babyface follows Ryan, but Tree exposes him to reveal another Ryan. The 2nd Ryan warns that one must die to close the circle. Ryan activates the reactor that releases the powerful energy to render everyone unconscious.
However, Tree wakes up in Carter’s room on Monday, June 18th. She soon realizes that all things are different when she discovers that Carter is dating a nice man Danielle. Ryan said the reactor caused Tree to float in another dimension. When Tree found out that her mother is still alive, she decides to stay.

That night, Tree goes to the hospital to find serial killer John Tombs before escaping. Babyface kills the officer; Tree runs into Lori and realizes she is not the killer. Lori tells Tree that Babyface cannot be a grave. This is only because she took him for surgery. Babyface stabs Lori and chases Tree to the roof. There she accidentally falls dead.
She wakes up at the start of the loop and demands that Ryan and his team escape. On Carter’s advice, Tree acts as the group recorder and kills himself at the end of each day to start over. Tree wakes up in the hospital and steals a gun to go out. Tree shoots Babyface. Then the 2nd Babyface appears and forces Tree to kill herself and Babyface.
Finally, the group discovers the algorithm. Tree decides to stay in the current dimension. Tree hides in a Babyface hotel. In the evening, the news reports that Carter has been murdered. Tree kills himself and deactivates the reactor to save Carter and Lori. The loop starts again and Tree decides to go back to her own reality. She suggests to Lori about her affair with Dr. Butler.
The reactor is seized by Bronson before the group activates it. She is very week to survive every other loop. Tree goes to the hospital to save Lori from Tombs, but was trapped by the 2nd Baby face. Then Tree kills Butler. Both Tree and Carter kiss when the reactor is activated, sending Tree back to its own dimensions on Tuesday the 19th.

When Happy Death Day 3 gets a green signal, it would definitely hit theaters in late 2021 or early 2022. The 1st Happy Death Day took about 5 weeks to film and premiered in October 2017. Likewise the 2nd was released in February 2019.
So that’s expected Happy Death Day 3 will come in summer 2020.
