SonyLiv recently dropped the trailer of their upcoming web series Gullak Season 2. The Mishra family is back with its heartwarming story. The series will premiere on the OTT platform on January 15.
Gullak Season 2: Storyline
What do you expect stories from a small town in the heart of North India to be like? Filled with shades of grey, petty crime, sorrow, and stories of revenge? You couldn’t be further from the truth and Gullak will show you how.
Set in quaint by-lanes in the heart of India, Gullak is a collection of disarming and relatable tales of the Mishra family. Join Santosh and Shanti Mishra, their sons Annu and Aman, as they savor the many flavors of small-town life with a smattering of humor, wit, and of course, ladleful’s of love.
Gullak Season 2: Trailer Out
SonyLiv shared the trailer of Gullak Season 2 on Twitter and captioned it as, “Sardiyon ki narm dhoop Jaise kisse lekar, aa Raha hai Phir Ek Baar, ‘Mishra Parivar’! Inse Milne aaeyega zaroor…sah Parivar. #Gullak Season 2 – streaming on 15th January, exclusively on #SonyLIV (sic).”
Santosh Mishra (Jameel Khan), head of the family, still works in the electricity department while his scooter still gives the same mileage.
Elder son Annu is still jobless and the younger one, Aman, is still struggling with his studies. While introducing Shanti Mishra, the narrator says, “Aur aakhir mein aati hai, maa. Jo Abhi Bhi kheer mein Amrit ke tapakne ka intezaar kar rahin hain.”
