‘Gulabo Sitabo’ plot
The film tells the story of Lucknow and centers on an old man who owns a 100 year old Haveli. In the past he has rented out the Haveli to many people. This time, however, he rented his Haveli to Bankey, played by Ayushmann, and he doesn’t pay his rent for several months in a row. This angered Mirza, played by Amitabh Bachchan.
But after some time they find out that the archaeological department has an eye on the Haveli. They both try to fight hard to protect the house. Their relationship evolves during this time.
