Godzilla vs. Kong ‘Hindi called full HD 1080p
The monster movie ending all monster movies hits theaters March 31st and on HBO Max, and if you’ve got a place in your heart for full-size action, you’ve probably circled the date in red ink on your calendar. But is it worth the wait? The plot of Godzilla vs. Kong is not completely unknown. First, we already know why Kong has become the size of Godzilla since its much smaller appearance in Kong: Skull Island.

Kong is the last of its kind, but he’s still growing. And you better hope he does. Because the Iwis say that as soon as Kong leaves, the big one will come. Reports from a Godzilla vs. Kong set visit and the film’s internet-breaking trailer have indicated that the showdown between the two titans may well contain another threat that is more mechanical in nature: MechaGodzilla, the legendary robotic kaiju making his MonsterVerse debut .
But whether the film is really good has remained a mystery so far. While you’ll have to wait for the official reviews to drop, the veil of secrecy has been lifted enough that the lucky ones who got to see the movie ahead of time can now tweet their first impressions.
It seems like fans of King Kong and Godzilla can sleep peacefully, as the critics’ early impressions indicate that Godzilla vs. Kong is everything you could ever have wished for – and then some.
Sean O’Connell, the director of CinemaBlend, tweeted some extremely positive things about the film, while also revealing that some of the action takes place in a Hollow Earth setting. He wrote,
“I had a blast with this film. It gets shaky and weird in all the places a monster movie like this should. Some human characters actually work. But it’s the combat and Hollow Earth that require a huge screen. Team Kong! ”
Sheraz Farooqi from Comic Book Debate confirmed that the film does its premise well,
and teased that some seriously awesome action between the two monsters awaits the audience.
He tweeted: “#GodzillaVsKong is fun, vibrant, action-packed and stimulating. [It] meets the heavyweight competition advertised with stunning visual effects and action scenes. This movie sells a spectacle, and that’s exactly what the audience gets to see. ”
Fandango’s editor-in-chief Erik David agreed, also pointing out that while big monster action is clearly the draw here, the human cast is also great and the story aspects add up. He wrote, “I’ve seen #GodzillaVsKong and it’s class A great! The monster brawls are tough and beautiful – massive fights, all well designed and super gnarly. Solid story, strong cast, really good
score. A true Midnight Monster movie and my favorite of the four modern Godzilla / Kong movies. ”
Godzilla vs. Kong isn’t Citizen Kane, of course, and some critics have pointed out that when you cut out the great monster action sequences, the rest of the movie may be somewhat lacking.
Germain Lussier of Gizmodo and io9 tweeted, “Godzilla vs. Kong has excellent action and effects. The story is insanely ambitious, reaching uniquely sci-fi cool at times. I’d check it again for that stuff, but most human angles are so lavish, illogical, and pointless that it constantly pulled me out. ”
Collider’s Vinnie Mancuso enjoyed the movie to the point that he said, “I’m going to watch this movie every day it’s available on HBO Max, turning up the volume on my television every time.” However, he noted that things aren’t exactly fantastic when the story focuses on people, saying:
“The human parts are still mind-bogglingly bad, but the parts where one giant monster hits another giant monster in the face are unbelievably good.” Perri Nemioff of the same outlet also pointed out the human storyline problem, though she felt the talented cast helps with the problem. She wrote, “Still don’t think they nailed how to integrate human characters, but the top-notch ensemble helps.”
While some critics seem to find the human-centric parts of the film disappointing, it certainly seems that Godzilla vs. Kong is happy to be what it is: a big, fun, lovingly made movie about the two most famous giant monsters out there. it out. You will have the opportunity to see how good they are.
