Over the course of four seasons Wynonna Earp has become a much-loved series within his dedicated fan base. Earpers will do just about anything for their show, even fighting to get the money after the money ran out during the filming of Season 4. While the fandom is now trying to save the series after Syfy cancels Wynonna Earp, there are still plenty of choice moments to laugh at.
What are the best and toughest moments in Wynonna EarpWhy is Earpers smiling affectionately, because that was pretty cool? We take a walk along memory lane as Season 4 draws to a close and we get ready to say goodbye to our loved one Wynonna EarpIt’s time to remember the moments that made us enjoy it in the first place.
WayHaught’s first kiss
One of the cornerstones of Wynonna Earp is the romance between Waverly Earp (Dominique Provost-Chalkley) and Nicole Haught (Katherine Barrell). Not only did the show expertly weave the romance between the pair, they show they fall in love and make fans swoon. When the payoff of the couple’s get-together happened, it made everyone scream.
When WayHaught kissed the couch after Waverly realized her bisexuality and wanted a relationship with a woman? More specifically, did she want one with Nicole? It was amazing. Fans all over the world have lost their minds about the pair. We are still losing our minds about how great WayHaught is for each other. Now they are getting married and ugh emotions. All emotions.
Wynonna rescues her baby
Getting pregnant suddenly is definitely something that would be someone’s head in a twist, but Wynonna (Melanie Scrofano) did her best to make it work. What she didn’t want, however, was for her child to deal with the mess that is purgatory. She wanted to give them a better life than what she had. And, frankly, it’s a powerful moment when Wynonna sends her daughter away.
By doing this, she saves her from Earp’s life. She gives her child the chance to just live without all this hanging over her head. And, frankly, it’s a tough move and a bad move because not everyone can. However, Wynonna Earp proves that she’s not most people when it comes to making life’s tough choices. Yet it is one of the most powerful moments in the series.
Waverly is “f-you” for Jolene
The demon Jolene (Zoie Palmer) tries her best to dim Waverly’s light after trying to wipe the half angel out of existence. However, Waverly doesn’t have it at all. Instead, she puts in a passionate line about how everyone matters, which became a rallying cry for the fandom and offered comfort to those who went through their own struggles. More badass than a gunfight in our opinion.
Waverly stands up and says, “I’m here and I’ll stay, and I love them too, and I’ll never, ever give them up.” She hovered over the poison that Jolene wanted her to swallow, because yes, people matter, we matter. Sometimes you just need to hear someone say that.
The Widow bullet is split
Listen, if we have to pick a fight scene, we’ll pick the fight scene in the Season 2 finale of Wynonna EarpBecause it’s just that good, you know? Wynonna & Doc (Tim Rozon) pretended to be enemies during the episode to make the remaining widows believe they had the upper hand. This wouldn’t have worked if they weren’t expert revolvers.
The couple fired at each other, splitting the one bullet that killed the widow in half to kill the sisters. It was a glorious moment that showed the technical prowess that both Wynonna and Doc had. It was also deep, deeply cool.
