Virat Parvam and Koratala Siva’s Acharya have a close relationship. The two films are peppered with close thoughts of Naxals. It was noted that the Censor certificate was a challenging task in the country with a broader guideline and task. The films are seen as fictional and are not realized by humans. So the censorship council had huge restrictions on the content of the film that didn’t have any criticism in itself.
The problem had a specific reason: the recent Maoist ambush that happened in Chhattisgarh, where jawans from 22 CRPF were killed. The forum had also come forward to support the martyr CRPF jawans based in Hydrabad’s organization which had an Anti-Terrorism Forum that had provided support to the CRPF jawans.
The Hyderabad organization had an anti-terrorism forum with a censorship board for the approval issue in the two movies called Acharya and Virata Parvam.
Since both films had a process-oriented mindset, it was encouraged that the film had radical views that were totally discouraged. The Anti-Terrorism Forum announced this. The Censor board further joined with the forum to make various statements across multiple rounds of social media.
Are there any updates on Acharya and Virata release date?
Some advocacy groups and Urban Naxals did their best to push the agenda through the use of these films. Due to the national security interests and integrity of the nation, a ban on these two films was requested as they deal with the ideologies of Maoism and Naxalism in general.
The two films, Acharya and Virata Parvam, are said to have a release date expected to be on May 13 and April 30. But there is immense chaos with the anti-terrorism forum that banned the release.
