The couple gave decent lives to several young boys and provided sheets to a number of young boys who lost their families or were forced to engage in illegal activities. Omar, known as Papa Omar, as the children call him, is a man of patience and undying love for these children. He may not be related to them by blood but becomes a father figure to these underprivileged children. However, the couple is struggling with the financial crisis because they have to take care of so many children in Casa Hogar. Omar soon encounters a problem that could pose a huge threat to the future of Casa Hogar.

Things get extremely difficult for Grandma after they are hit by the devastating Hurricane Odile, making their situation worse.
