After a long wait, Krafton launched their flagship battle royale title “PUBG Mobile” in India by renaming it as Battlegrounds Mobile India. The game reached 10 million downloads within 24 hours of launch and became the top grossing free game in the Indian Google Play charts.
During the Streamers battle tournament, Krafton revealed that they will be making an announcement on the Battlegrounds Mobile India esports roadmap on July 15. As expected, Krafton has unveiled the roadmap for the first official BGMI esports tournament to be titled Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BMIS).
Battlegrounds Mobile India Series is the first open BGMI esports tournament to be held by Krafton in India. This tournament has a whopping prize pool of 1 crore rupees or $150,000 US Dollars. The tournament will be broadcast on BGMI’s YouTube and Facebook social media pages.
Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2024 is a three-month esports tournament that aims to develop the game’s esports scenario by providing an opportunity for young talents. Players can register for the tournament by visiting the in-game portal or by visiting the official BGMI website.
The 2024 BGMI India Series registration process involves three steps:

Second Section • CAPTAIN DETAILS
• Captain Name
• Captain real name
• Captain email address
• Captain User ID (in-game)

• User ID of all players (in-game)

All players in the roster must be 16 years of age or older. Players under the age of 16 are not allowed to participate in this tournament. Players under the age of 18 must provide a letter of consent from their parents before registering. All players must have a level 15 account in the platinum level.
