Bally’s Casino Kansas City opened in 1993 as the Harrah’s Kansas City Casino. It was the first casino to open in Kansas City since the state legalized gambling in 1989. The casino was originally owned by Harrah’s Entertainment. In 2005, Harrah’s Entertainment was acquired by Caesars Entertainment. In 2017, Caesars Entertainment sold the casino to Bally’s Corporation.
