Amazon’s The Lord of the Rings Can Now Resume Production in New Zealand

Amazon Prime Video’s most expensive Web Series The Lord of the Rings TV series has now get permission to resume production in New Zealand by the country’s Ministry of Business, Innovation, and Employment according to the Local Media Reports.

You will be surprised to know that the budget of the series is 1 billion dollars which is never seen before in any TV  project. It is the costliest TV production ever. 

The whole setup will be based on the fictional world created by JRR Tolkien.  Also, The Lord of the Rings is created by JRR Tolkien. He is popularly known for his ultimate work in Hobbit.

Who Will Be Main Attractions of The Lord of The Rings?

 JD Payne and Patrick McKay will be the main attractions of the series.

JD Payne is an American screenwriter and “showrunner” of the upcoming “The Lord of the Rings” series. His work in on-screen features began with Star Trek Beyond (2016), as an uncredited writer. He had been selected to screenwrite for its sequel before its cancellation by Paramount in early 2019.

The most amazing thing with this popular Amazon Series is that the first two episodes of the series will be helmed by JA Bayona who has immense popularity among youth for his most successful venture Jurassic Park: Fallen Kingdom.

Writers of The Lord Of The Rings :

Gennifer Hutchison and Bryan Cogman (a writer on Game of Thrones) complete the fellowship of writers.

Highlight: The series will not be a direct adaptation of the novel as Peter Jackson has directed trilogy.

Instead, It is expected to take material from the Second Age of Middle-earth.
