History
The casino was originally built as a racetrack in 1956. The racetrack was owned by the Tiverton Raceway Company. In 1992, the Tiverton Raceway Company was sold to the Narragansett Indian Tribe. The tribe converted the racetrack into a casino, and it opened in 1993.
