Since there is no end date for the reopening of theaters, Bollywood is slowly making a shift towards OTT platforms. From Akshay Kumar to Ajay Devgn, more actors are joining the OTT bandwagon with their big budget movies.
If you think you’re done with your online binge, here are the seven movies to be released in the next six months to keep you hooked.
1. Dil Bechara

This is going to be an emotional ride! The last film by the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Dil Bechara, an Indian adaptation of The fault in our stars, will be released on Disney Plus Hotstar on July 24.
2. Laxmi bomb

Akshay Kumar’s horror comedy starring Kiara Advani, Laxmi bomb will also be released on Disney Plus Hotstar.
Shakuntala Devi

The next from Vidya Balan is a biopic on ‘Human Computer’ in India, Shakuntala Devi. Balan will star and the film will premiere on Amazon Prime. The release date has yet to be announced.
4. Sadak 2: The Road to Love

Sequel to the 1991 direction of Mahesh Bhatt Sadak Sadak 2: The Road to Love stars Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt. It will be released on Multiplex from Disney Plus Hotstar.
5. Bhuj: The Pride of India

Featuring Ajay Devgun, Sanjay Dutt and Sonakshi Sinha, Bhuj: The Pride of India is a war drama released on Disney Plus Hotstar for streaming.
6. Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl

Janhvi Kapoor will be shown the titular role in this biopic. Based on the true story of Air Force Pilot in combat, Gujan Saxena, who played an essential role during the Kargil War, the film will be released on Netflix India soon.
7. The big bull

With Abhishek Bachchan, The big bull is the biography of notorious stockbroker Harshad Mehta’s financial crimes. It will be released on Disney Plus Hotstar, but the date has yet to be announced.
Previously Shoojit Sarkar released his Starrer Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushman Khurrana Gulabo Sitabo on Amazon Prime. Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Ghoomketu was also released on Zee5 in May. Audiences liked both films. So, is the OTT route a new way forward for Bollywood?
