5 Ways to Flatten a Mouse Pad | Flatten a mouse pad with curls?

1. Rolling the other way

This is one of the methods of flattening a mouse pad. If your mouse pad is curled, always roll the mouse pads in the opposite direction before putting them down. After that, and for a few days, they are always flat. You have to give it the opposite force. Only if you put something on it, it won’t get flat.

2. Spread it over with a towel

Simply apply a mild heat in the opposite direction. Most mouse pads are made of rubber materials and change direction when heat is applied. Apply a mildly warm press iron with a towel or heavy cloth over it and observe the result. If it is made of some kind of rubber, it will soften with heat and will retract as it cools.

3. Fix it on the desk using tape

You can use double-sided tape to keep your mouse pad flat on your desk. This also prevents the mouse pad from slipping.

4. Put some pressure on it

This will take a few days, but it works fine. Simply apply some weight to the curled mouse pad with the folded edge facing down. Stack some books on top of each other and leave it for a few days and it will be squashed. Make sure the weight is evenly distributed. If it doesn’t work, try more weight? For longer? Although it is under the weight, you can try using a hair dryer to warm up the mouse pad so that it is more receptive to losing the curves.

5. Use a hair dryer

If you have a blow dryer, you can also warm it up gently (NOT HOT), which will help relax and flatten it. The heat will definitely help smooth it out. Unfortunately I’m not so sure about the RGB components myself. I think a hairdryer on a low temperature would be enough.
