Ranveer Singh starrer 83 was slated for its April 2020 release. It depicts the Indian cricket team’s journey to World Cup victory in 1983. Ranveer Singh plays former Indian skipper Kapil Dev, while Deepika Padukone stars as Romi Dev, Kapil’s wife. Ranveer starrer will be released on June 4, 2021.
3) Radhe: Your most wanted Bhai
Salman Khan’s was all set to captivate its fans at Eid 2020 with its action entertainer titled ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’. Vicky Kaushal plays the revolutionary freedom fighter Udham Singh in a biopic directed by Shoojit Sircar. The film is scheduled to be released on October 2, 2020, but has been delayed until 2021. Expect the film to be released in April or May 2021.

Starring Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta and Huma Qureshi, Bell Bottom is a spy thriller set in the 1980s. Directed by Ranjit Tewari, the film will hit theaters on May 28, 2021.

After Kabir Singh’s blockbuster success, all eyes will be on Shahid Kapoor as he will next appear in the Jersey sports drama. The movie is a remake of the Telugu movie of the same name. The film will now be released on November 5, 2021, colliding with Akshay Kumar’s Prithviraj.
7) Atrangi Re
After Raanjhanaa, Anand L Rai and Dhanush work together on a romantic drama. It also stars Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan. Produced by T-Series, Color Yellow Productions and Cape of Good Films, the film will hit the big screens on August 6, 2021.

With support from Yash Raj Films, Prithviraj is one of the most expensive Bollywood films of 2021. Akshay Kumar stars as ruler Prithviraj Chauhan in the period drama. Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar makes her Bollywood debut. She plays Chauhan’s love interest and beloved wife Sanyogita. The film is scheduled for release November 5, 2021.
9) Pathan
Shah Rukh Khan will return to the silver screens after a three-year hiatus. His next, tentatively titled Pathan, is an action thriller. Directed by Siddharth Anand, John Abraham and Deepika Padukone also star.
10) Bharmastra
Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna and Dimple Kapadia, Brahmastra has been a long time in the making. Ayan Mukerji’s fantasy drama film has been postponed several times and is expected to hit theaters in 2021.
11) Laal Singh Chaddha
Starring Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor, Laal Singh Chaddha is an official Hindi remake of Tom Hanks’ cult classic Forrest Gump. It was initially slated for the Christmas 2021 release, but was delayed due to the pandemic. According to reports to come, Aamir is now looking at the Christmas 2021 release for the movie.

12) Maidaan
Starring Ajay Devgn and Priyamani, Maidaan will hit theaters on October 15, 2021. Maidaan is a biographical sports drama, directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, with Devgn in the role of Syed Abdul Rahim, who served as the coach and manager of the Indian soccer team in the fifties.
13) Toofan
After Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Farhan Akhtar and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra reunite. Farhan plays a boxer in a sports drama that also stars Mrunal Thakur and Paresh Rawal. Previously slated for a September 2020 release, Toofan will now appear directly on Amazon Prime Video on May 21, 2021.
14) Thalaivi
Kangana Ranaut is all set to bring the story of the late J Jayalalithaa to the silver screen. The biographical drama film, directed by AL Vijay, will be released on April 23, 2021 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
15) Shamshera
Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt, the period drama has been delayed several times. Set in the 1800s, the film tells the story of a dacoit tribe fighting against the British. Karan Malhotra, who has previously directed such films as Agneepath and Brothers, is leading the project. Shamshera will be released on June 25, 2021.
