History

The property was originally developed by the Del Webb Corporation in the early 1960s. The property opened as the Stardust Resort and Casino in 1962. The Stardust was one of the largest casinos in the world at the time of its opening.

In 1998, the Stardust was purchased by the Mirage Resorts Corporation. The Mirage Resorts Corporation rebranded the Stardust as the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino in 2000.

In 2005, the Mirage Resorts Corporation was acquired by the MGM Mirage Corporation. The MGM Mirage Corporation rebranded the Monte Carlo as the CityCenter in 2009.

In 2015, the MGM Mirage Corporation was acquired by the MGM Resorts International Corporation. The MGM Resorts International Corporation rebranded the CityCenter as the Park MGM in 2018.

In 2019, the Park MGM was leased to Caesars Entertainment Corporation. Caesars Entertainment Corporation rebranded the Park MGM as the Caesars Palace Las Vegas in 2020.

Current Use

The Caesars Palace Las Vegas is a AAA Four Diamond resort and casino. The resort features over 3,000 hotel rooms, a variety of restaurants, a spa, a pool, and a casino. The casino features over 3,000 slot machines and over 100 table games.

The Caesars Palace Las Vegas is located at 1001 W Casino Rd in Las Vegas, Nevada. The resort is located just west of the Las Vegas Strip. The resort is accessible via Interstate 15 and Highway 515.
