Major updates on release date, host and judges

Outpost Entertainment produced the US competition series Forged in Fire and has been a success in getting audiences excited. The show is a hit with gun nerds around the world. The show features an exciting competition between cutlery makers for recreating historic sword weapons in competition.

With only seven seasons so far, the series is ranked 25^th on the list of most popular game shows on IMDB. There has been a similar constant pattern since its inception in 2015. Here the four contestants are involved face-to-face in a typically killer competition, forging any knife they desire. They premiered the last and eighth season in November 2020.

Forged in Fire Season 9: Host

The news of new host Grady Powell replacing 7-time presenter Wil Willis had already stunned fans. Wil Willis is an accomplished Army Ranger and Para Rescue Specialist. Grady Powell has assumed responsibility for hosting Season 8. He is a National Geographic star of Ultimate Survival Alaska. Replacing Will Willis in Forged in Fire won’t be easy for the new host.

• J. Neilson is a knife and sword expert with 20 years of experience in making knives and blades.

• A famous maker of Hollywood props, David Baker is an expert on historic rebuilding weapons.
• Doug Marcaida is an expert in edged weapons who also works as a military contractor, martial arts instructor and knife designer.

• Jason Knight is also a famous Master Smith.
• Ben Abbott who competed and won two Forged in Fire championships.

Forged in Fire Season 9: release date

There is no official statement regarding the season 9 release date of The History channel. Forged in Fire Season 8 is still ongoing. Following the trend of the past, fans are speculating about the release between October and December 2024. But the ongoing COCID-19 pandemic may cause some delay.
